Lewis E. LeBrun II – Vice President, Claims, UM and Business Analysis < back to list
Prior to joining Group Benefit Services, Lewis served as Director, Practice Management at Upper Chesapeake Management Services Organization. In this capacity he played a vital role in the management and administration of Medicaid and Medicare full-risk contracts. Additionally, Lewis served 10 years at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Maryland where he played an integral role in the development of a new claims adjudication system. From there, Lewis joined Prudential Health Care Plan of the Mid-Atlantic (PHCP) where he served in a dual role as Manager of both Claims Administration and Health Care Expense Analysis. At PHCP, Lewis was responsible for the overall operation of claims processing for both risk and non-risk HMO/PPO business as well as development and implementation of specialty capitation arrangements, HEDIS reporting, provider report cards, and implementation of the RBRVS fee schedule for commercial product lines. Lewis is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Health Administration. Lewis is also a member of the faculty at Towson University serving as an adjunct professor for the Health Sciences department. |
